for the month

Note Books go in and out of print all the time.  As a result prices and availability of books listed on earlier pages may have changed.

<< Previous Month's New Books Page

I've been meaning to add Barefoot Books to our listing for a while now and have finally done it. You'll know why when you read what they say:

At Barefoot Books, we celebrate art and story with books that open the hearts and minds of children from all walks of life, inspiring them to read deeper, search further, and explore their own creative gifts. Taking our inspiration from many different cultures, we focus on themes that encourage independence of spirit, enthusiasm for learning, and acceptance of other traditions. Thoughtfully prepared by writers, artists and storytellers from all over the world, our products combine the best of the present with the best of the past to educate our children as the caretakers of tomorrow.

We are committed to creating better books for children and to getting them into their hands and hearts by working with partners who share our vision. Barefoot Books feature fascinating stories and poems by authors, poets and storytellers who have tapped into a wealth of material from different cultures. They feature first-class illustrations from talented artists around the globe. Last but not least, they feature top-quality production values making them highly collectible.

Although, as usual, we've added a fair few environmental books we thought we'd focus on this inspiring publisher for this month's New Books listing.

You'll find more details of these books and our full book listing in the browsing pages.  And check out our Special Offers.
