Title: Laughing Matters

Author: Mariana Funes
Description: Subtitle: Live Creatively with Laughter

Everyone knows intuitively that laughter is good for us. Laughing Matters is for anyone who wants to have more laughter in his or her life. It makes us rethink our attitude to laughter as a fundamental human response, and it provides practical experiments and strategies to help us laugh more.

Laughing Matters explains the physiology of laughter and how it helps make the connection between our bodies and our brain that we need to manage our emotions. It shows how we can change our beliefs about laughter so that we can benefit at work, in relationships and when suffering emotional pain or stress. Laughter and the gift of perspective can release our creativity by leading to new insights, new purposeful ways of perceiving the world. It develops our ability to communicate with other people.

When we laugh we feel better - Laughing Matters tells us how to do it and how to use it.
